​Tours

How long is the tour?
About 60 minutes (route may vary with conditions).

How many people do we need?
Private groups: minimum 6. Mixed groups may run from 4. Each bike has up to 16 seats; large groups are split into multiple bikes.

Which languages do you speak?
English and Portuguese (Spanish on request).

What is the route?

• Lisbon: Belém riverfront (MAAT, Central Tejo, 25 de Abril bridge views).

• Porto: Foz do Douro, along the river and nearby residential streets (start/end: Mercado da Foz do Douro).

• Algarve: Albufeira – Oura area (near the Strip).
  Routes may change with local conditions and guidelines.

Do we need to pedal? Who steers?
You pedal at a relaxed pace; our sober professional driver steers and handles safety.

What if it rains?
The Beer Bike has a roof and tours run rain or shine. Please dress for the weather. In severe conditions we may reschedule or refund.

Drinks & age policy

What’s included?
Unlimited beer, sangria and soft drinks during the tour. Water is always available.

Minimum age for alcohol?
18+ (Portuguese law). We may request a valid ID. Under-18s can join with a legal guardian, drinking soft drinks only.

Can we bring our own alcohol?
No outside alcohol is allowed on board.

Safety & behaviour

Any rules on music and behaviour?
Yes—please respect residents and public space (especially in Foz do Douro and Oura). Keep music at a sensible volume and follow the crew’s instructions. No standing on seats, no littering.

Smoking/vaping?
It's allowed, as it is an outdoor activity

Health & accessibility
You should be able to step up and pedal lightly. If you have accessibility needs, contact us in advance.

Booking, payment & cancellations

How do we book?

Deposit & balance
A [50%] deposit may be requested to secure the slot. Balance is due 24h before the tour.

Cancellations & changes

• Full refund up to 7 days before the tour.

• 50% fee for cancellations 2–7 days before.

• No refund within 48 hours or in case of no-show.
  Severe weather: we’ll offer reschedule or refund.

Lateness
There is a 15-minute grace period. Late time reduces the tour duration.

Damage & refusal of service
We may charge for damages. For safety, we may refuse service to intoxicated guests (no refund).

What should we bring?

Photos & privacy
We can help with group photos. If we take pictures for marketing, tell us if you prefer not to appear.

Who operates the tour?
Tours are operated by us or trusted licensed partners depending on city and date. Where applicable we identify the local operator and RNAAT on the city page.
